This 1983 Chevrolet C10 Custom Deluxe 4x4 has the look of an
intimidating off-roader, and it even has the fuel-injected stroker
V8 power to get you into or out of any trouble. But this is far
from just a mean machine. As you dig deeper, you'll see a sleek
pickup with a loaded A/C interior and quite a solid feeling on the
road. So read into the details on a full package classic 4x4.
Short bed Chevys trucks of this era have an awesome look,
especially when mixed with a tall 4x4 stance. This one does it a
bit better with a solid restoration investment that includes the
bright white paint and a nice clearcoat luster. The was even a
proper wet sanding and buff to make sure the shine really loves to
highlight the crisp lines that make these trucks look so beefy.
There's also a hint of a well-coordinated dark side with the
updated black accent grille, black Chevy bow tie, fresh window
rubber, and the stylish and functional full liner paint in the bed.
Plus, clear headlights, mirror-like chrome front bumper, diamond
plate rear step bumper, and polished 15-inch Mickey Thompson wheels
give this the kind of brightness we all love on any classic
American.
The outside has the white as the dominant color and the black is
the accenting, and now that theme is reversed for the handsome
interior. You can see there was a solid investment here keeping it
looking fresh and nice, including on the dash, carpeting, door
panels, headliner, and bench seat with comfy velour inserts for
where you sit. This is loaded with the best features, including
power windows, power locks, and the sliding rear window. The tilt
steering wheel gives you a clear view to the gauges. Plus, the dash
wraps around the driver almost like a sports car. So it's an easy
reach to upgrades like the controls for the cold-blowing R134a air
conditioning.
Under the hood is a clean and mean beast of a powerhouse. It's a
383 cubic-inch storker V8 where the block was decked and squared.
According to the consignor, this was enhanced and fortified with a
full floating rotating assembly, an Eagle crankshaft, one-piece
main seal, Eagle rods, Keith Black dish top pistons, 10:1
compression, Comp Cams 282 Xreme hydraulic roller camshaft,
stainless 1.5 roller rockers, and Renegade 185cc runner aluminum
heads. It's topped with an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and a
Holley Sniper electronic fuel Injection system. This enhanced
package fires up readily, and headers add power and rumble to the
dual exhaust. The three-speed automatic transmission was rebuilt to
handle the truck's added power, and it also now includes a 2500
stall. The two-speed 4x4 transfer case, four-inch suspension lift,
and new Eldorado Mud Claw Extreme M/T tires are all part of package
that makes this a superior off-road truck. But there's more going
on here. The way the transmission shifts and the solid suspension
give this a surprisingly well behaved feeling on the road. And you
also have power steering and power brakes with discs up front to
make any trip easy.
This is the 4x4 with all the right investment to be great for on or
off road. So don't miss this deal, call today!
