For Sale: 1963 Mercedes-Benz 230SL in Farmingdale, New York
1963 Mercedes-Benz 230SL Roadster for sale! Motorcar Classics is
pleased to present this outstanding 1963 Mercedes 230SL Roadster
featured in white with dark red interior, matching white removable
Pagoda hardtop, and black canvas convertible top. The 230SL was the
first of the W113 range, and this car is a very early example. Many
enthusiasts consider the 230SL to be the purest expression of the
W113 design. Our 230SL is a European delivery car which still
retains the handsome, rare and valuable European headlamps. Even
more rare is the 4-speed manual gearbox sport package that makes
these cars much more engaging to drive. The original Becker Europa
radio is still fitted. The car was restored in 1982 at which time
the car had 36k kilometers (about 21,600 miles) and today it shows
just 60,404 kilometers (about 36,000 miles). All of the W113
variants are known for their timeless design and quality
construction. This is a fine example that you can drive or show
with pride.
