350 V8, AUTOMATIC, S10 REAR END, EASY DRIVING, SOLID BODY! This is a great driving Willys that would make a great S10 frame swap or fall welder project. Watch the video inspection, take a look at the pictures and details below, then call Erick at 678-908-6006.
Cosmetic
- Paint/Body: Really solid body with only a couple of tiny rust spots to speak of. All of the steel is straight and the flat black paint is consistent from bumper to bumper. You could drive her like she is, or easily invest in a nice paint job with minimal body work.
- Interior: Original dash and non-functional gauges. Late model bucket seats are clean and comfy. Back is open and ready for cargo. Carpet on the floor, headliner is in good shape.
- Glass/Windows: All of the glass is in good condition with even some new glass and weatherstripping.
- Trunk: Original wood strips on the rear floor pan are covered with plywood and carpet.
- Undercarriage: Floor pans, rockers, and inner fender wells are all solid and virtually rust free. The rear frame rails are rusted out and need to be welded or replaced. This is where a S10 frame could come in handy and make an easy to finish swap.
- Wheels/Tires: Nice new American racing wheels with newer tires.
Mechanical
- Drivetrain: 350 V8 starts easily and runs very strong. 350 Turbo transmission shifts through all gears smoothly. This Willys has good power and is easy and fun to drive. She steers straight down the road with no play in the wheel. Manual steering is tough to turn only when sitting still.
- Lights/Electrical: All of the lights work as they should.
- Brakes: Power booster added to the original brakes make this Jeep stop easily. The brakes stop strong and straight.
I wish I had time to do the frame repairs and keep this sweet little wagon. My loss is your gain. Be sure to watch the video then call Erick at 678-908-6006.
