Several improvements were introduced with the 911 F-series. The
engine capacity was enlarged to 2341cc by using a longer stroke and
with the power and torque increases, while the cars also received a
stronger 5-speed H transmission. The final lineup in the F-series,
referred to as the 1973.5's, were constructed during the last 6
months of U.S. production. They featured a galvanized chassis and
CIS injection which would be implemented in the G-series, while
retaining the beloved 2.4L powerplant and early styling - producing
one of the most desirable 'classic' 911s to date.
9113102194 was completed in March of 1973 in Light Ivory (11) paint
over Black Leatherette (11) upholstery, with US Equipment, Comfort
Equipment, Light Metal Wheels (Fuchs) and Dunlop tires. The 911
comes from Los Angeles, California, and still wears its correct,
as-delivered livery (with tasteful improvements), paired to its
original numbers-matching CIS 2.4L engine and 5-speed transmission.
An exceptionally original car to begin with, the Porsche received a
mild, period-style weekend racer / outlaw treatment in 2018, with
notable features including front bumperette delete, rear bumperette
backdate, backdated signal lenses and horn grills, 5 new and
correct 185/70R15 Pirelli CN36 tires, mounted to original Fuchs
wheels, aggressive M&K "911 S" muffler for the outward
appearance, while the interior cabin appears very well preserved
overall, with original carpeting, headliner and crack-free dash.
The original leatherette front seats have been replaced with
perforated leather and wool houndstooth sport seats by GTS Classics
of Austin, Texas, along with radio delete, leather luggage straps,
aluminum shift linkage cover, short shifter, and 380mm
(double-leather wrapped) RS steering wheel. While absolutely
stunning in its current configuration with the right amount of a
seasoned patina, all updates are completely reversible and
9113102194 is accompanied by several original replaced parts.
The exterior's single-stage Ivory finish was applied many years ago
- with expected blemishes, while original paint in areas such as
the door jambs, engine bay, luggage compartment, and undercarriage
are still visible. A view from the undercarriage presents a
beautifully honest and solid floor pan and seems, with original
undercoating and cosmoline present. The front luggage compartment
contains a chrome steel wheel with matching Pirelli tire and
original perlon carpeting, while the rear displays a recently
serviced engine with proper fitments. A 2018 engine-out service
comprised of a new exhaust system, oil lines, fluids and filters,
battery, wipers and safety equipment, clutch and linkage
components, oil tubes, top end gaskets and engine mounts.
Notable 2019 services addressed an injection system refurbishment,
along with auxiliary component repairs. Followed up by a Summer
2019 and Summer 2020 service by marque experts RS Werks of
Pennsylvania. This included rebuilt brake calipers, new brake
discs, lines, hoses, and master cylinder, seals bearing and tie
rod, valve cover, gaskets and seals, heater hoses and cables,
windshield seal, H4 headlights bulbs and seals, CIS diagnosis and
repair, pop off valve and fuel system freshening. A recent
inspection and meticulous detail ensures many more miles of
exhilarating drives. This particular T revs incredibly quick and
remains one of our most memorial driving 911's.
The 911T is offered with an original 1973 Owner's Manual in pouch,
Technical Specifications book, Porsche Certificate of Authenticity
copy, recent records, and accessories. Driven, enjoyed and
maintained as required, this final-year classic 911 offers
excellent road manners and period styling - guaranteed to turn
heads at any Luft or cars and coffee event! Available now worldwide
purchase and delivery from our Houston, Texas showroom.
