Hailed by GM as a Masterpiece when first introduced to the public,
this car was a luxury vehicle that stood apart from the rest. This
car has beautiful looks even by today's standards. You could park
one of GM's masterpieces in your garage. According to the original
Bill of Sale, this Star Chief was originally sold on April 28, 1954
by Valley Pontiac of Middleburg, New York. The selling price was
$3,360, which was a good chunk of change back then. The car is
still finished in the original color of Coral Red, which paired
with the Salmon interior make this car pretty stunning. Add the
fact that the car also has a white roof, a bunch of chrome trim,
chrome spotlights, the optional appearance group trim, and white
walls, the exterior of the car is in keeping with the masterpiece
advertising from GM. One really cool highlight of the exterior,
which we understand is hard to find in nice condition, is the Chief
Pontiac amber hood ornament that lights up. Inside the car is
luxurious and features chrome trim, with the dashboard featuring
the speedometer framed in textured aluminum trim and a large chrome
vent centered in the dash. The seats and door panels are trimmed in
a two tone color scheme of cream and salmon and show well. The
front seats were recovered in the past few years, while the
backseat upholstery looks to be original. Behind the big steering
wheel is the place to be to experience the smooth Straight-8 engine
that is under the hood. The Pontiac straight 8 engines are
extremely smooth when running, so smooth in fact that you may not
think it is running. The beautiful exterior styling, luxurious
interior, and smooth delivery of power will help send you down the
boulevard in comfort and style. Take a close look at this stunning
Star Chief, with a car like this, you could park a GM Masterpiece
in your garage. Be sure to check out all the photos and video on
