Vehicle Description
This 1972 Ford Mustang not only pays tribute to the Mach 1, but
also it has nice upgrades wherever you look. So this is your chance
to enjoy a distinct V8 pony car offered for an outstanding
price.
It's not a secret why these later cars in the first-generation
Mustang are a true aggressive machine. They have outstretched
design lines that prove they want to own the road. So it's a great
place to start when upgraded the aggression to Mach 1 status. The
deep chin spoiler, full width rear spoiler, and dual Ram Air hood
scoops all give this the look of the aggressor. And it only gets
more imitating with finished in all black. The application is not
perfect, and while you might decide that the price leaves room in
the budget to really bring back the smoothness, this one kind of
already has the right look to go with this coupe's attitude. Plus,
radiating from the darkness are excellent brightwork pieces like
the form-hugging chrome bumpers and the upgraded US Mags alloys
that have a 17/18 inch front/rear stagger to add aggression to the
stance.
Inside the darkness continues. The later cars got high-back bucket
seats that were great for all-day comfort. Plus, the carpeting and
headliner look fresh from a new investment. And the wood-like trim
was part of the Mustang's new upscale image. There are classic
elements, like the large round gauge package, auxiliary readouts in
the center, and it looks like this was even a factory A/C car (most
of the components will need to be returned to get it functioning
again.) More than just vintage, this upgrades the driving
experience with by giving your hands the right things to hold, like
the wood-rimmed steering wheel and Lokar shifter.
Under the hood is Ford's hardy 302 cubic inch V8. It has some added
flair with the polished Ford Racing valve covers and matching air
topper. But what you'll really appreciate are the upgrades that
make it a better powerhouse. This includes the an Edelbrock
mid-rise intake, one-inch spacer, a Holley four-barrel carburetor,
upgraded ignition, and Taylor pro plug wires. The V8 fires up
nicely and makes a clean sound out of the rather straight dual
exhaust pipes. This creates a classic that's ready for the road.
And the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and
power brakes with front discs really make it great for cruising.
And don't forget, the wheel upgrade also means you get to fit this
with modern and grippy performance tires.
This is a darkly-done Mach 1 tribute that runs strong and has the
right upgrades. Don't miss this deal, call today!!!
