Vehicle Description
One of the Best Looking Designs of the 20th Century: 1965 Jaguar
E-Type Series I Coupe This 1965 Jaguar Series I Coupe is an
excellent original driver quality example wearing an older full
restoration. Red with tan leather interior. This was a complete
nut-and-bolt effort that included several performance upgrades to
the suspension and drivetrain. The car was completely disassembled
and the tub sandblasted. All paint and body work was done by Motion
Products of Neenah, WI. The chrome and trim are all very nice as
are the chrome knockoff wheels. The original 4.2L block was
replaced with a 1968 unit during the restoration. The 4-speed
transmission was rebuilt as well. The leather interior has held up
well and the seats are free of any rips and are quite comfortable.
The door panels and headliner are also in very good condition as
are the dashboard and steering wheel. All gauges function properly
as do the blower motor, wipers, horn, and parking brake. The old
Becker AM/FM radio with center console speakers also works. There
is also a proper spare tire with a knockoff hammer and jack. An
overall straight, solid, and clean car. This example represents an
older restoration that still looks great and is a blast to drive.
It also comes with many restoration photos and receipts in
electronic format along with many original parts. A spectacular
value for what is perhaps the most iconic british sports car of all
time. Quality Older Restoration Highly Attractive and Strong Driver
