The Chevrolet Nova was something of a prosaic economy car until the
muscle car era. Quickly launched as a competitor to the Ford Falcon
with the name Chevy II it evolved into a larger vehicle but still
with a reasonably compact wheelbase. Over the years it became known
as the Nova. Then its compact design made it ideal for turning it
into an eye-catching muscle car.
The Nova Rally Sport of 1972 looked much like an SS but could be
ordered without the Super Sport 350 cubic inch V8. So, the Nova
Rally Sport would look like a muscle car but could be a
disappointing performer. This car has corrected that short coming.
It has a 402 (bored 30 over) V8 which makes this car even more
powerful than the original SS and a real muscle car.
A floor mounted 4 speed shifter transfers the power to the rear
axle. The interior is in black with a bench seat. It also has power
steering and Rally wheels.
The red exterior features Rally Sport badging. The odometer shows
21,638 miles which is not the original mileage.
This very rare car is offered
