The 1970 Barracuda saw major changes in design over the previous
iteration. The Fastback style was removed from the line up and the
new Chrysler E-Body, shared by the new Dodge Challenger, was used
as the underpinnings for this new muscle car. The Gran Coupe was
the luxury edition and featured leather seats and dual exhaust.
This 'Cuda is offered with the optional 383 cu. in. eight-cylinder
engine generating 335 hp, mated to a four-speed manual
transmission. Only 341 Barracudas were built in Plum Crazy with the
383, four-speed in 1970. This 'Cuda only has 950 owner-stated miles
since being rebuilt.
