Just out of a long time private Italian car collection, GR Auto
Gallery is excited to offer this wonderful 1959 Autobianchi
Bianchina Transformable Convertible to the global collector car
market. Autobianchi's Bianchina is considered the worlds most
stylish micro cars and the example offered here is an outstanding
example in structure, cosmetic quality and mechanical fitness. The
car comes to us from Santa Cruz California where it was held and
cherished by a retired Italian car master technician since 1987. He
restored and refurbished the car during the 90's, kept it to a high
quality to where it was invited and shown at the 2012 Concors
Italiano in Monterey, CA. Coincidently, the other car the same
owner took to the event, a 1958 Fiat 1200 TV spider, won a Fiat
Marquis award. Today, this little car stands tall amongst its peers
and commands big stage presence wherever driven or shown.
The car is finished it its original color combination code 363 Blue
with Ivory accents. It is powered by its original numbers matching
479cc 2 cylinder air cooled rear mounted engine, 4 speed
transmission, 4 wheel independent suspension and rear wheel drive.
The interior is extremely tidy in coordinating two-tone blue and
white exterior trim. The car returns its optional Autovox factory
radio, refurbished exterior chrome and trim, original tool roll,
original wheels and hubcaps, original steel and body panels,
original gauges and switches, original steering wheel, original
restored rollback roof frame, highly detailed engine bay, original
tool roll, and original vehicle handbooks. The car is turn-key and
ready to please.
