Ranger to the world market. The first Generation Ford Bronco's are
quite possible the most recognizable vintage SUV on the planet.
When introduced in 1966 to rival the Toyota FJ, Jeep and
international Scout, the Bronco was well received as the vehicle
behaved more like passenger vehicle and less like a tractor. The
Bronco's edge in drivability instantly made them a hit as they were
easy to get around town and the ability to handle highway speeds
without sacrificing off-road capability. The Bronco's edged was
also prevalent in overall ruggedness and are the first choice for
off road modifications by 4X4 enthusiasts.
The 1974 Ford Bronco offered here is a high quality example that
has been the recipient of a highly detailed, ground up restoration.
The Bronco has custom powder coated bumpers with a Smittybuilt XRC
9,500lbs winch in the front, electric cooling fan that is set to
kick on as soon as the truck warms past 150 degrees, headers,
stainless steel exhaust with Borla mufflers with electric cut outs
powered by toggle switch on dash, power brakes, power steering,
Holley Carburetor, Proform distributor, high rise intake, full
rollcage, dual side mirrors, new carpet kit, dual operational gas
tanks, ProTach tachometer, lockable center console and glovebox,
tow receiver. The truck rides on new Goodyear Wrangler LT235/70
tires with 17 inch MB wheels. The Bronco also has 4 wheel disc
brakes.
