1960 Volkswagen Type 2 23 window Deluxe Mircobus, S/N 632504, Sealing Wax Red with Beige Grey and two-tone grey interior. 1,200cc flat 4 cylinder engine with 4 speed transmission. Ordered with “ambulance step” at the cargo doors and the Eberspacher gas heater. This Samba has the iconic safari windows that flip up out in front, the 6 pop-out side windows, the “22nd and 23rd” windows in the rear pillars and the sliding fabric roof panel. All of this “open-air” access makes it feel like a convertible bus. This 9 passenger Microbus was fully restored by VW specialists over a 5 year period and today shows better than it left the factory 60 years ago. It comes with its VW CoA.
