Garage Kept Motors.) Garage Kept Motors is pleased to offer this
beautifully restored '66 Mustang Convertible for consideration. The
car has a 302 V8, upgraded stereo, nice paint and body, and of
course those classic Mustang looks. The 302 under the hood gives
this Mustang a little pep in its step! The car originally came from
the Dearborn Michigan factory finished in Nightmist Blue (Code K)
with a Blue interior (Code 22). However, we think the restored Blue
metallic over black color combination is a much more agreeable
palette for this Pony. The exterior trim and bumpers show extremely
well and the blue paint really pops. Not only was the curb appeal
upgraded - the mechanicals were done as well, giving it a more
modern driving experience. It left the factory with a 200ci
inline-6 but now has a 302ci V8 under the hood. An automatic
transmission handles gear selection. The addition of an Edelbrock
4bbl carb and Edelbrock Intake Manifold help this Mustang breathe a
little better. Recent upgrades include aluminum radiator, electric
fans, new battery, Holley electric fuel pump, new gas tank, wheel
bearings, exhaust manifolds, and exhaust manifold gaskets. Period
correct polished wheels wrapped in new rubber finish off the look
of the exterior. Inside the car is a tidy interior finished in
black. The upholstery is in great condition throughout and includes
upgraded stereo mounted in glovebox, three spoke steering wheel,
and familiar chrome t-handle shifter. Finished in an eye catching
blue with features like a 302 V8, beautiful paint, and clean
interior this car is definitely one to consider if you're in search
of a first generation Mustang with a little extra pep in its step.
