In the beginning, my intention was to completely restore this 1960 Thunderbird to its original glory, but after a few weeks of having it sit in my front yard all alone, it finally dawned on me that I had neither the energy nor the knowledge to do it. This classic certainly deserves proper treatment.
This Thunderbird comes with the vaunted 352 V8 360 horsepower engine, referred to by Ford as the Interceptor Thunderbird Special. The seats in this car are in fairly good shape but the floor is all but gone. The driver's side front window is broken, but all other glass is fine.
The body is in reasonably good condition, with a few rust spots sprinkled about, as well as a big dent in the roof which can be seen in the pictures. The car needs a battery, paint, floor pans, carpet, headliner, upholstery, fender mirrors, and among many other things, the bumpers need new chrome.
Make me a reasonable offer on this car, and I will accept it.
