Vehicle Description
HIGHLIGHTS: Super neat rumble seat 1930 Ford Model A coupe! A real
deal Model A that escaped being hot-rodded or chopped up, this
puppy is classy and flashy in black on red! If you're looking to
get into a unique pre-war classic that retains an original classic
feel, this just might be the car for you!
BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this Model A appears to be in good
condition, and while it shows minor signs of wear and use due to
being an older restoration, this fine automobile is ready to be
enjoyed. The only noticeable item is the bumpers are beginning to
show some oxidation, but fortunately reproduction bumpers for these
cars are readily available.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: This car has been restored at some point
in the past. Given the age of the car, it is no surprise that it
needed freshening up! The paint still shines, and really helps this
Model A stick out in a crowd. The black looks stunning, and it has
that classic car gleam!
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The black and red vinyl interior is a
fantastic contrast to the exterior color, and really picks up on
the underlying "mild custom" vibe this car has. The interior is in
nice, well-kept condition and shows how sparingly this car was
used. Even the rumble seat material is in great shape! While it
does show some signs of use, it is clear this car has been
well-kept since the restoration.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: The Model A-correct engine purrs like a
kitten, and the sound of this car revving up in gear is sure to
take you right back in time. This car appears to be dialed in well,
and is a total hoot to drive. The shifter feels nice, the steering
is tight, and this puppy is ready to cruise!
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The way it looks! This is not your
grandfather's Model A, and while it is far from a hot rod, it has
exactly the right look to keep things interesting.
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: If you're a stickler for
authenticity, steer clear of this one. While it has heavily
retained its original style, the custom interior and aftermarket
turn signals may be a turn-off.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? Everything seems to work as expected! The
tires are showing some age, however.
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? This car is perfect for someone
wanting to own a Model A that is already "turn-key." Because this
car is already a nice little driver, it would be the perfect
addition to a collection or for anyone looking to hop into
something cool.
