For Sale: 1979 Chevrolet Pickup in Cadillac, Michigan
It's 99% Refurbished stock Chevy Luv. Replaced Distributor with CDI
ignition no more points. Added Heavy duty front bumper, roll bar
and sliding glass rear window. Replaced carb 4 years ago,
differential axle, front end steering and wheel bearings, upper and
lower control arms, all brake components front and rear, calibers,
drums, shoes, disks, brake master cylinder, clutch, windshield,
dash cover, fuel pump, water pump, alt, battery, starter and tires
less than 2 years old. All moving parts been refurbished except for
transmission, wiper motor, and passenger door, and all still good.
Engine has approx 80,000 miles and was rebuilt by Charles Ritchey
of Ritchey Enterprise, head work done by Arlington Machine Shop.
Engine has new pistons 20 over and crank turned 10 under. Unloaded
it gets 37mpg consistently 1.8L engine. Bed payload rated at 1000lb
(0.45 ton). It has a frame, it's not a unibody. When loaded it only
gets 25mpg yea only 25mpg with 1000lbs of cargo. I have a plastic
bed liner and an unfinished tailgate. A 350V8 will fit a Chevy LUV.
Nowadays most have 350s in them, they cost $10,000 up and are used
on racetracks. You don't see any on the streets anymore. Registered
as an Antique. License Plate good for 5 years. Please Note The
