This extraordinary one-off started life as a standard W210 station wagon at the Mercedes-Benz factory. But then it was sent directly to Binz Karosserie, one of the few traditional German coachbuilders of this era. With its long tradition of collaboration with Mercedes-Benz, Binz once again lived up to its reputation for craftsmanship, distinctive luxury and high quality customization.
In the Binz workshops, this stunning vehicle was converted to a 2000 Mercedes-Benz E320 four-door pickup to be used as a promotional vehicle for a Mercedes-Benz dealer in the Atlanta area.
Instead of simply taking the back off the station wagon, the Binz craftsmen added an extra 29 inches on the back of the car and built a pickup bed on the back, using the original rear window to create a new one for the cab.
New features include:
The custom work was expensive . . . almost $50,000 extra . . . but the conversion is flawless, as is the quality of the work.
Added to the custom work are the luxurious features of the standard W210, including a Bose® sound system, heated front seats, self-leveling suspension, automatic climate control and rain-sensing wipers.
Under the hood, you’ll find a 5-speed automatic transmission with a 3.2 Liter M112 V6 that produces 221 hp at 5,600 rpm for a smooth, powerful ride.
With just under 23,000 original miles, this one-of-a-kind classic is truly a rare find.
This unusual Mercedes is totally original and has never been driven in bad weather. It is in showroom condition and is located at our sister dealership in Tifton, GA.
You will never find another like this E320 pickup, and it’s sure to be a hit wherever it’s shown or driven.
