Vehicle Description
1966 Ford Thunderbird. Very nice looking car but just blew the
radiator. Did a ton of work on it this winter, huge list of parts
replaced and work done on it including getting all lights working
(including the sequential turn signals and the fender turn
signals), new carpet, upholstery work, damaged wiring replaced, new
upper and lower tie rods, replaced the speedometer cable, sway bar
bushing replaced, new battery, oil change, window motor replaced,
new wipers, a nice driver quality single stage wimbledon white
paint job, new sill plates, interior lights, and more. It's a very
cool car with some unique features like the swing away steering
wheel, the sequential lights in rear bumper, and the turn signals
on top of the fenders so driver sees the lights blinking, but the
car needs a bit more work to get everything working perfectly. The
last drive ended with a blown radiator, she was running great up
until the radiator blew but I dont know if there was an issue that
caused it to blow or if it was just an old radiator that gave out
as I've heard they're infamous for that problem. It needs some
other projects to finish it up like an exhaust manifold leak, a
carb tuneup, radio is just static due to no antenna, and engine bay
needs a serious cleaning. The drivers side window motor was
replaced with a new one and it worked great for a while but then
something happened and it goes down normal but fights me going up.
Also, the new paint job looked great until I overbuffed a couple
spots on the hood that are now slightly faded. The tires are good
and brakes stop on a dime. Suspension is smooth and front end is
solid. Interior is beautiful and very comfortable. Nice car with
about 80k miles that is still mostly original. Please Note The
