What we have here is a low mileage 1978 Fiat Spider 124 that my Dad purchased in 1980 with 6,149 miles on the clock according to the original paperwork. I had the engine running on September 5, 2020. The fuel pump is leaking and needs replacing. The interior is in quite good shape and the boot that covers the convertible top when it is down looks and feels almost new. (There is one small tear in the driver's seat, but the remaining upholstery is in good condition.) The Wyoming winters and deicing salts have not been kind to this car, however, so the front and rear quarter panels are hurting; the rear is worse than the front. The hood, trunk, and doors are in great shape, but the convertible top needs to be replaced. My Dad drove it to work every day for years until he retired, so I know it will run well with some care and attention. If nothing else, there are some excellent parts for someone looking to rebuild another similar model. Transporting the vehicle will be the responsibility of the buyer.
