Extremely rare, 1 of only 1357 V8 built Impala Convertibles in Canada and only a handful of those 1357 came with a 348. This one has the original numbers matching 348 along with an upgraded aluminum powerglide transmission. This is the real deal, not a fake conversion that gets passed off to unsuspecting buyers. The fine '59 features one piece bumpers front and rear, front grill guard, padded dash, power steering, and power brakes. The generator has been upgraded to an alternator from Classic Generators. All the looks of the original generator, but has the features of an alternator. The car was repainted in 2000 and still looks incredible. Front and rear seat covers along with the padded dash and carpet were replaced this year due to some slight fading of the previous seat covers. Also this year, the wheels were powder coated red with new wide white Coker tires. Seat trim, hood and grill trim, marker light trims were all re-anodized. The white convertible top and back window are in fantastic condition. This Impala runs and drives great and is ready to cruise into the sunset.
