Vehicle Description
This 1959 Chevrolet Corvette has been resorted to give you the
vintage look you love. But as you get closer, you can also see it
was given all the right extras. Everything from the dual-quad 350ci
V8 to the A/C interior makes this first-gen Vette an all-around
awesome package.
There has been some nice work that has gone into this Corvette to
make sure it gives off a proper classic first impression. The black
paint was updated later in life to make sure it still shows a good
gloss in the sunshine that loves to highlight the curvy body
panels. And the side covers panted in a classic Inca Silver really
shows off this hallmark styling element. Plus, all the brightwork
has an exceptional mirror-like look on all the best places,
including the split front bumper, toothy grille, correct wheel
covers, and the rear bumper with integrated exhaust tips. This
comes with both tops. So you get to choose a white folding roof
that coordinates with the whitewall tires, and it also complements
the black body as if the car was wearing a tuxedo. And the
color-matched hardtop gives this a sleek coupe silhouette. But of
course, we all love the first-gen Corvettes because it also allows
us to go with no roof at all.
The bright red interior is like a beacon calling out for you to
come closer and hop inside. Nice bucket seats, clean/bright
carpeting, a smooth dash, and taut door panels give this the
overall look of quality. You'll even love showing off vintage
features like the working clock and Wonderbar AM radio. But there
are also the right well-integrated upgrades. The steering wheel
looks vintage, but it's a thicker and smaller diameter unit. And
the addition of cold-blowing R134a air conditioning makes it much
nicer to enjoy the open-top driving experience on a sunny day.
The engine bay has a bit of a stock first impression. You have the
wide air grabber, bold block, and cool Corvette script valve
covers. In fact, the dual Carter four-barrel carburetors was
something that you could get back in 1959. However, the 350
cubic-inch V8 beneath it is a 25% increase in displacement over
anything from that year. And this is a four-bolt main motor, too.
It also has nice upgrades like a 12-volt system, alternator, and
dual electric fans. This is a powerful package that fires up
readily, and the four-speed manual transmission shifts smooth to
give you confident control over it all. There are even upgraded
front disc brakes to make sure this upgraded C1 delivers proper
control.
Complete with owner's manual, this Corvette has been given the
right investments to look like a great classic and also provide you
with the power and comfort upgrades you really want. It's a total
package that you know needs to be your new Sunday driver. Call
