Take a moment to understand how this 1969 Pontiac Firebird gets it
all right. The exterior is a shining presentation of an iconic
color. The custom leather interior continues the color coordination
while also offering modern comforts. And under the hood is the
largest displacement Pontiac motor that's got plenty of go-fast
goodies, including fuel-injection. Add in four-on-the-floor,
four-wheel disc brakes, upgraded suspension, and more, and you can
easily see how this is the muscle car that fulfils the whole wish
list.
Let's start with what immediately grabs your attention, the paint.
Real Pontiac fans know this is Carousel Red. It's a genuine '69
Pontiac color, but you can also instantly tell this is a modern and
professional application. The deep shine combines with the crisp
body lines to deliver a car that radiates quality. And speaking or
radiates, the Oxford White was painted on for racing stripes and
the rear panel to really make sure this one has a bright and
powerful look. Plus, the brightwork looks amazing in places like
the beak-like front bumper, headlight bezels, and the stylish rear
bumper. The package is finished off with plenty of aggressive
upgrades, like the triple scoop hood, extra-large exhaust tips, and
17-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels.
Inside is another place where the custom look of the restoration is
absolutely evident. It's hard not to be impressed with how the bold
exterior paint was custom applied to the seats, door panels, dash,
and center console. And yes, this is done in a supple leather! It's
intertwined with a tasteful black for a thoughtful total
appearance. This custom coupe was built with comfort in mind, and
so you get power windows, power steering, an armrest and cup holder
in the console, R134a air conditioning (will need servicing), and a
Kenwood AM/FM/CD/XM stereo with a USB input and Bluetooth. This was
also built as a proper performance machine. That's why you have the
upgraded sports steering wheel on a Flaming River tilt column,
AutoMeter Ultra-Lite II gauges, and a Hurst shifter. And the
touchscreen controller mounted on the dash is another clear
indicator of something special under the hood.
The sleek and dark inner walls of the engine bay instantly funnel
your attention to the shining beast in the middle. There's a
show-ready tidiness and luster to this 455 cubic-inch V8, but what
you'll really love is how this looker was built to be a predator.
This massive Pontiac motor has been enhanced and fortified with a
Comp Cams camshaft, Edelbrock Performer aluminum heads, Edelbrock
Performer RPM intake, and Hooker headers. And the Holley Sniper
electronic fuel injection system lets you dial in your ideal
performance right from the comfort of the interior. This mega motor
is supported by the right pieces, including upgraded pulleys on a
serpentine belt system, an MSD 6AL ignition, and a large aluminum
radiator w/electric fans. You are in firm control of this full
power package with a Borg Warner Super T10 four-speed manual
transmission that feeds the 12-bolt rear end. The suspension has
been updated by BMR Suspension, and it also includes newer
polyurethane bushings and a rear sway bar. You even have four-wheel
disc brakes and the grip of modern ZR-rated tires.
Complete with some build receipts and service manuals, this is an
awesomely powerful Firebird that was fully built so that you can
harness it all with comfort and confidence. So don't let this full
package muscle machine slip away. Call today!!!
