Vehicle Description
Launched in 1983 the Defender 110 was widely used still as military
vehicles while trying to break in to the higher end civilian market
with these utility vehicles. This particular unit was a Military
radio truck that utilized a 24V battery system with two-twelve
batteries ran in sequence. It also utilizes a lot larger
alternator/generator for the charging system. This vehicle was
purchased a few years back and underwent a $20,000 service.
Everything was done starting with power steering rebuild, front and
rear suspension, new tires and wheels, LED lighting kit and wiring,
new tail gate and hardware, front and rear brakes, axles seals, tie
rod ends, valve adjustment, tune up, fluid flush, heater hose and
shrouds and more. The vehicle was then sanded, primed and painted.
A new full canvas top with windows, and half top along with rear
jump seats and numerous other odds and ends. This rugged rig starts
perfectly with just a little smoke on start up. Shifts perfectly,
brakes nicely and goes down the road probably better than it did
when it was new. Heat works as do all lights and wipers. These
things are getting huge prices as of late and are becoming hard to
find in this type of "Driver" Condition. Do not miss the
opportunity to purchase one of these highly collectable pieces.
The truck comes with the most recent service receipt and
two-keys.
