We have a completely restored 1979 Jeep Custom Pick here at Custom Vintage Exchange that has had a complete frame off restoration and has been customized with a new pickup bed and a complete alligator interior that was made as a design of the Aztec Indians in Australia.
The Jeep Gladiator was a series of full-size pickup trucks based on the large Jeep SJ Wagoneer platform. The Jeep Gladiator Pickup design is noteworthy for remaining in production for more than 26 years on a single automobile platform generation.
The Gladiator was the basis of the first post-war U.S. Army trucks designed to be civilian vehicles and adapted to military use.
This Jeep has been totally rebuilt and restored using the 360 cubic inch engine and manual transmission drivetrain to power the 4wd chassis.
It is packing the V8 engine stock horsepower and torque and it is a great looking engine and it sits in a very clean and detailed engine compartment too.
Even the chassis has been painted and detailed and looks as good as the rest of the truck.
It rides on brand new white custom aftermarket steel wheels with chrome center caps and BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A white letter tires and has a great stance either sitting or going down the road.
This Gladiator features a cool looking lite blue paint scheme with white stripes down the side and roof along with a complete custom rear step-side bed with cherry wood flooring that really compliments this Jeep.
This frame-off build has an awesome shiny wet look as the body panels line up well and all the glass, trim, chrome bumper, the inside of the step side bed, and the fenders look as new.
The interior is stunning as a complete alligator stitched off-road theme has been added.
It all starts with the alligator skin bench seat with the matching door panels, custom stitched dash and cover, cherry wood steering wheel, gauges and radio, 4wd and floor mounted shifter, tan carpet and floor mats, saddle-blanket headliner, advanced electronic power supplies behind the seat, machete, rifle, axe, fire extinguisher, and many more custom touches.
