The 2009 Dodge Hemi Challenger SRT 8 we have here at Classic Vintage Exchange reminds you of the original bad-boy 426 Hemi 1970 Challenger rated at 425 horsepower back then.
Like any contemporary performance car, the SRT8 Challenger is infinitely more competent in all dynamic areas than its ancient ancestor.
The Challenger we have here has the 6.1-liter Hemi V-8 with 425 horsepower, 420 pound-feet of torque and a 5-speed automatic with manumatic shifting capabilities, slotted brake rotors with Brembo four-piston calipers gripping those big rotors, performance tires, coil-over Bilstein monotube shocks all-around and anti-roll bars at both ends, Anti-spin rear differential, Dual bright exhaust tips on Dual rear exhaust, Performance tuned power rack & pinion steering, Rear stabilizer bar, 20" x 9.0" aluminum SRT design wheels, and more.
But ours has even more performance added as it was modified at Pettys Performance where they upgraded the engine, transmission, and exhaust to bump it up to its current level. Our Challenger has only 41,000 miles on it too.

The exterior of the Dodge SRT8 is a bright Hemi Orange Pearl with white stripes, spoiler on the rear decklid, a functional hood scoop, and HID headlamps. Paint is nice as is all the trim and orange body colored bumpers.
The 2009 Dodge Hemi Challenger SRT8 we have here at Classic Vintage Exchange is just as powerful, if not more powerful, than its 1970 counterpart and can run 0-60 mph from rest in 4.7 seconds and clear the quarter in 13.1 and is capable of reaching the engine's 6400-rpm redline in fourth gear and attaining a 173-mph top speed, on a closed course for sure!
