This Ferrari is powered by the correct 3.4-liter Tipo F119 V8 engine, which featured quad-cams, four-valves-per-cylinder and an unmistakable exotic exhaust note. All of the shifting is done through a 5 speed manual transmission with the famous Ferrari gated shifter. It is a well maintained 3 owner car with a clean CarFax. It has been in the current owner's care for 22 years since 1998! Best of all the odometer is showing only 48,000 original miles! First introduced at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 1989, the Ferrari 348 was designed from a blank slate and borrowed design cues from its bigger V-12 powered stablemate, the Ferrari Testarossa, such as the aggressive side strakes. The design of the car was overseen by chief stylist Leonardo Fioravanti, who was responsible for the F40 and was the last V8 model developed under the direction of Enzo Ferrari. The infamous belt service was completed about 11,000 miles ago, the clutch/throw-out bearing/pressure plate were all replaced in 2018, as were the half shaft boots and A/C compressor.
