This 1987 GMC Suburban Sierra 2500 4x4 is a unique example of a
full-size, on/off road machine. Between 1985 and 1987, GMC shipped
factory Sierras to Starcraft Conversions (noted for their van
conversions) for enhancements that created the 'Ducks Unlimited
Edition'. Production was limited to a total of 300 trucks - 100 per
year. Our owner performed a partial restoration (2017) of this 1987
Sierra 'Ducks Unlimited' that included some cosmetic changes. The
exterior was re-sprayed Matt Army Green and the original upholstery
was completely redone with striking Duck Camouflage cloth. (Extra
25 yards of material is included.) Some features of the 'Ducks
Unlimited Edition' include wood interior accents, center/roof
consoles, table, gun rack storage departments and indirect interior
lighting. Convenience features include: cold A/C, power locks,
power tinted windows, tilt wheel, and AM/FM/CD stereo system. There
is also a CB radio, Passport radar detector and 5" color TV w/VCR.
All factory gauges are working perfectly, as is the air
conditioning system. Based on the VIN number codes, the engine and
drivetrain appear to be all-original. A 5.7L 350ci V8 produces
210bhp and delivers power through a four-speed automatic gearbox
that shifts seamlessly. The chassis is equipped with power
steering, power disc/drum brakes and 4-wheel drive. There is a
front winch with rebuilt motor, but it is currently inoperative.
Tires are BFG All Terrain radials in very good condition are
mounted on 16" 8-bolt Pacer alloy wheels. This Suburban Sierra
'Ducks Unlimited Edition" is a rare truck that will sell quickly.
ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
