Vehicle Description
This 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle has less than 2,500 miles on it since
going through a comprehensive restoration. Now you get slick paint,
a custom A/C interior, upgraded suspension, overdrive transmission,
and a performance-built small block...and it's all available for
quite a nice price.
The deep blue paint has a slick finish that sets the tone nicely
for this coupe. It lets the light roll evenly over the well-done
sheetmetal to really let people know this is a thoroughly restored
coupe. It was a complete frame-off project that was complete in
2014 and less than 2,500 miles have been on the car since. It was a
comprehensive restoration that replaced any sheetmetal that was not
up to the standard. So you can see the quality, right down to the
mirror-like shine of the chrome bumpers. And this beauty also mixes
with plenty of brawn. You see it in the painted white racing
stripes, cowl hood, large dual exhaust tips, and polished 17-inch
REV alloys.
The interior is a custom setup done for added performance and
comfort. The black is an upgrade later in life, and it looks
especially nice on the carpeting, headliner, and door panels. This
has an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with USB and Bluetooth, and the air
conditioning is an updated system blowing cold with modern R134a.
So this is a nice place to spend so time even if you're not in the
driver's seat...but we all really know that's where the best fun
is. The front seats are high-back sport buckets with plenty of
bolstering, and there's a B&M shifter in-between. A Grant GT
sports steering wheel (power steering) gives you a clear view to
the Thunder Road instrument panel that fits the full round Faria
gauge package.
The engine bay looks like a true dark heart with smooth black inner
walls, a black Chevrolet air topper, and matching valve covers. And
this powerful look is because you have a powerful motor. The
restoration includes a 406 cubic-inch small block. It was fortified
and enhanced with an Eagle balanced crank, Eagle 5.7 rods, flat top
pistons (10.5:1 compression), Promaxx aluminum heads, a four-barrel
carburetor, and headers that feed the Flowmaster dual exhaust. This
mighty motor is supported by all the right pieces, like a Summit
Racing high-torque starter, new water pump, HEI ignition, steel
braided lines, and Champion three-row aluminum radiator. As you
look underneath the car, you'll also see quality pieces like an
epoxy coated frame, polyurethane suspension bushings, and new body
mount bushings. It makes for a powerful coupe that feels solid on
the road. And the 200-4r four speed automatic transmission
w/overdrive adds to this upgraded driver feeling. Plus, you have
nice performance features like a 12-bolt Positraction rear end,
tubular rear trailing arms, upgraded power front disc brakes, and
the grip of modern performance tires at all corners.
Complete with build receipts, this Chevelle has been restored
properly for a sleek look an all the features you want. So you get
showmanship and freshness in a well-priced package. Call now!
