For Sale: 1960 Austin-Healey 3000 Mark I in Concord, California
Description from the owner:
"Matching numbers 1960 Austin Healey 3000. British Motor Company
Heritage Trust verified. Multiple award winning car: Third Place,
All British Car Show, May 18, 1997; Second Place, All British Motor
Vehicle Show, May 19, 2013. Rare 2 seater and first year of the
Austin Healey 3000 (prior years were 100-6). Originally ivory
white, it was painted in red with a white two-tone vinyl wrap
(which can be removed if you desire an all red car).
Engine, transmission and rear end all rebuilt by prior owner who
was a certified mechanic. New rear shocks, thermostat, hoses. New
interior of black with red piping. Runs and drives great. Three
owner car. First owner was a UC California professor who owned the
car approximately 9 years (and sold it because he wanted to buy a
Ford Pinto). Second owner (1970-2019) was certified mechanic. With
the exception of a few years in Seattle, Washington, car spent all
of its time in California."
Older restoration that still shows well. Good driver. Overdrive
works great. I have added a couple of recent pictures of the car
before the white vinyl was added to the sides.
