Manual windows. Original hard top (soft top was not ordered from the factory). Original Medium Blue pleated Dresden vinyl over pleated Starmist vinyl upholstery without rips or tears. Original carpet with typical wear. Original wheel covers. Original trunk liner. Gate release invoice, owner’s manual, sales brochures and related documents included in the sale. Car was garaged for the last several years. Clean California title in owner’s name.
Recent work includes draining fuel tank and replacing fuel filter; replacing fuel pump/brake booster; installing new Holley 4160 carburetor (original included in sale); minor tune-up (spark plugs, cap, rotors, wires); and mounting new Coker period correct wide-whitewall radial tires. Front and rear brakes were rebuilt at some point under current ownership. All gauges and lights function properly. Body is rust free and straight, with no damage according to the owner. One repaint (date unknown).
Engine starts easily and runs smooth. However, there are the typical leaks from engine and transmission given the car’s age. So engine, transmission and suspension components would benefit from a thorough going through. Brakes should be rebuilt or updated.
There are some cosmetic issues: rubber around the fender vents should be replaced; the driver and passenger rubber molding on the hard top (sealing the top of the windows) needs to be added; the chrome molding on top of the driver window needs to be refitted; and the dash pad should be replaced.
