Our 1970 Boss Tribute is truly a fine well running and gorgeous ride. The 302/347 stroker engine and rebuilt C4 shift kit transmission with a 2,800 rpm converter came with the Mustang when we purchased it. We gutted the interior to install sound deadening material and nicer mass backed cut pile carpet. Some of the interior was so great it stayed and other things got refreshed. The Grabber Blue paint is the original color and had also been re-painted once.
We did some huge suspension and handling upgrades including 1-1/8 front sway bar, new rear sway bar, Global West frame stiffeners, improved front coils and five stack new rear leaf springs. We went through the entire under car operations. The 347 engine sports Ford SVO (Special Vehicle Operation) aluminum heads, Edelbrock intake and a custom jetted with the correct power valve Holley 650 carb. We upgraded the driving lights and turned the interior lighting blue LED. This stunning Mustang Convertible Boss Tribute has more power and better handling than the original Boss car in that year. It was the first member of our growing Classic Car Collection we have. Our inside storage room is limited here at home and we now have three Classics. We can only handle two at a time so the oldest one we have enjoyed so much must move on. This beauty wins Best of Show, Best of Class, First and Second Place all year long year after year. She drives like a dream and always gets thumbs up!
