Nicely restored 1945 Hudson pickup truck. Rare, early postwar example of Hudson's Commercial 6 has been upgraded with the 308 CID Twin H-Power Hornet 6 engine. The largest six cylinder engine and dual carburation is what made made the "Fabulous Hudson" so fabulous! The Twin H-Power Hudson was unbeatable in competition on the dirt and paved tracks. Finished in a beautiful business gray paint with a gray and tan interior. The low sleek stance of the Hudson design is as produced from the factory. This unique design not only was ahead of it's time but gives it the unique Hot Rod look today.
Everything work as it should with the original 6 volt system. All electrical, lights, gages, heater work. The gas tank has been cleaned and restored by Gas Tank Renu-USA. Mechanically the truck is sound and it runs and drives great. It has nice acceleration. Sheet metal, floors ad frame are very solid and has no rust anywhere. Trim, chrome and glass is nice. The transmission and clutch work great and shifts smoothly.
