For Sale: 2014 Tesla Model S in Ft Worth, Texas

Vehicle Description

Your eyes are not deceiving you, Streetside finally has its first Tesla for sale. Yes, this 1-owner, low mileage 2014 Tesla Model S P85D is a great electric-car luxury and performance sedan that's loaded with features and is offered for an unbeatable price when you consider the value. Oh yeah, and this particular Elon Musk beauty was ordered with the "Ludicrous Speed Upgrade", which provides 1.1Gs of insane acceleration that can beat anything off the line by a country mile. Teslas don't hit the secondary market all that often, and super-clean ones like this never last long.

Silver Metallic is the perfect factory color to have on this Tesla, a modern shade befitting of this electronic gadget on wheels. This paint color was actually an additional $750 upgrade, so you won't see it all that often on the streets, and it's an instant attention-grabber with deep luster and glittering metallic flake that can even make brand-new cars jealous. In fact, the exquisite condition of this well-respected, one-owner, sporty 4-door might even make you think our showroom is in fact a Tesla staging area in California. The panels retain their precision gaps, with more aggressive and dynamic design lines than Mercedes or BMW, which is exactly why Tesla has such a fervent following. So, it has the quality and appearance that's still in line with modern luxury, but you can take this sedan home for a fraction of on a brand new one. Matching the nearly flawless bodywork are slick carbon-fiber decor accents throughout the body, a cool carbon-fiber spoiler out back, a 'TESLA' light-up rear emblem, and an all-glass panoramic sunroof that's been tinted super dark. And don't worry about running out of juice, because this Tesla has twin chargers.

Nothing's better on a modern car than a black leather interior, and the luxury and great condition inside this Model S instantly lives up to its premium reputation. The condition of the seats reinforces how carefully this car has been kept, with nary an imperfection or sign of use to speak of. And the addition of the matching floor mats covering the plush carpet below, and the Alcantara headliner above are further nods to highline premium appeal. The moment you sit behind the multi-function steering wheel, you feel how the 'next generation' power buckets have been engineered for all-day comfort. There's plenty of coddling luxury, including power windows, power locks, keyless entry, cruise control, and theft alarm, just to name a few, and we mean a few because this baby is loaded. All of this is set against bright trim and carbon-fiber accents on the dash, middle console, and door panels, and with a fully digital gauge bezel just ahead of the driver, the overall feeling is the perfect balance of luxury and sport. Plus, the giant touchscreen system in the center of the dash controls everything this car does, including managing the subzero weather package and the Ultra High-Fidelity Sound Package that pumps tunes through high-end speakers and subwoofer out back. And not only does this future classic look amazing, but also you get plenty of modern safety, too, with air bags galore and other programed featured inside the hardware of this car that I could barely begin to describe correctly here. Heck, this car can even drive itself with the Autopilot feature that was introduced in this very year model. Four doors mean you can invite your friends, and with multi-zone climate control, you and your passengers get to dial-in individual comfort. Out back, the trunk is optioned with a thick carpeted mat and has plenty of room for luggage, and the same goes for the boot up front.

As far as the drivetrain, if you can even use that nomenclature on a fully electric car, the less we say is probably better. A quick Google will result in hundreds of articles about these cars, spelling out all the numerous benefits. Quite frankly, I'm not an engineer, but I have driven these cars. There's nothing faster on the road, with the 3-phase AC induction motor posting a 0-60 time of 2.8 seconds thanks to the $10k "Ludicrous Speed Upgrade". The transmission is a fixed gear 1-speed that plants power with zero delay, the car operates on a dual-motor all-wheel drive set-up, and the Smart Air suspension handles and corners better than pretty much any 4-door on the market. But again, if you just want to kick back instead, Autopilot can do all the work for you. Finishing the look is an awesome set of 20-inch smoked alloys that show off the giant ventilated brakes at all four corners, and they're wrapped with 245/45/20 front and 275/40/20 rear Pirelli radials with plenty of grip.

The sale comes complete with the original window sticker and maintenance records that show this hit its correct service intervals from day one. This is a sharp, modern, and speedy electric masterpiece that will be leaving us quickly. Call today!!!
