This exceptional GTO is a numbers-matching car documented by Pontiac Historic Services. The ground-up restoration was performed by the second owner, a former Pontiac Motor Division District Service Manager. Major components and sheet metal are original. Overall, this car is the same as if the original owner simply serviced and repaired it as needed over the course of 55 years.
Ordered as a new vehicle from Seattle’s Totem Pontiac. First owner was 45 and had no kids to trash the car. Assembled at the GM plant in Fremont CA in April 1965. Seller is the second owner; he grew up working in his family’s Pontiac dealership and later became a District Service Manager for PMD. He has given every effort to make this car like showroom stock.
