has been fully rebuilt, from top to bottom with nearly all new
parts. Restoration finished in 2020, huge stack of receipts! 13
miles since restoration!
BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this Chevelle is smooth, straight, and
gorgeous! Restored back to the way it left the factory, this car is
a fresh restoration that is sure to turn heads.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The paint on this Chevelle is Matador
Red; a color that has been a Chevelle classic since way back. Just
like the rest of this car, the paint is new and was fresh as of
2019. This thing is slick!
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: Finished in the original red color,
the interior is a fantastic match to the exterior color. It really
gives this car a unique look! The interior is in nice, ready to
cruise condition and just like the paint it is almost new. The only
notable changes in the interior are very subtle; the Vintage Air
heat & A/C controls and the aftermarket original-look stereo.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: A factory SS396 car, naturally a
period-correct 396 big block sits under the hood. The engine was
fully rebuilt at Midland Engine Machine here in NC in 2019. It was
machined, cylinders honed, align honed, block decked, heads
surfaced, and reassembled with all new parts and ARP hardware. The
whole nine yards! One notable under-hood modification is the
welcome addition of a Vintage Air A/C system. This car has A/C
that's actually cold! This Chevelle runs great, the 4-spd shifts
well, and this car is a blast to drive.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: What's not to love about a freshly
restored Chevelle SS? The red on red exterior/interior combination
is our favorite part.
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: There's not much to nitpick on
this one.
