HIGHLIGHTS: This is an honest old pickup with a clean body. It is
in perfect condition for use as a truck and as an affordable
weekend cruiser! But if you are looking to build a custom truck
this old C10 is a great candidate, even though it already has some
mild custom touches..
BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this C10 is mostly straight, but does
show some normal wear from use as a truck. There are a couple of
dings here and there, but they add to the character and the look of
this thing! This truck appears to have received a mild refresh at
some point, but it has not received a full restoration. It isn't
beat up by any means, but it is clear this truck was intended to
remain somewhat useful as a truck.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The paint appears either to be original
or a very old repaint , and is in good condition. Bear in mind that
this is not a fancy paint job, but it is more so a nice old truck
with super cool patina. We wouldn't have it any other way!
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior condition is actually
somewhat astounding given the exterior appearance. Through and
through, this truck is what we would describe as the perfect driver
candidate. If you're looking for a classic truck for weekend fun
and to occasionally use as a truck, this is an ideal choice. While
there is some visible wear on some interior components, it is in
excellent shape for the age and it is just right for anyone in
search of an affordable classic pickup.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: This truck drives well and runs smoothly. Even
the factory A/C is working correctly! This truck fires right up and
runs very smoothly. With the classic combination of a 350V8, and a
TH350 transmission, this truck will provide years of service and
will be easy to maintain for years to come. While the drivetrain
remains mostly unmodified, this truck has been C-notched and is
sitting on staggered 20" and 22" Detroit Steel wheels. It sits just
right and looks fantastic!
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The "farm truck" rat rod look, and
the stance.
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: If you don't like lowered truck
with big wheels, this is likely not for you.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The old AM radio isn't working, but an
aftermarket replacement could easily be fitted.
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Whether you're looking for a
cool little parts hauler, shop truck, or a fun weekend cruiser,
this old C10 has a super cool look and would be a fantastic
choice!
