1982 Cadillac Seville VIN# 1G6AS6986CE698571 Mileage Shown 52,353 Engine HT4100 4100cc 4.1 liters 249 cu.in. Aluminum block V8 Transmission THM325-4L 4Speed automatic Color Blue Interior Blue Leather The Cadillac Seville 2nd generation (1980-1985) belongs to mid-size luxury / executive car class. This one-owner car is all-original unrestored condition. The car was loved and well care-for, but the owner and has donated the car as a charity auction benefitting LeMay-America’s Car Museum. The car was named “Blue Maxx” by the owners. Overall, the body is in good condition with only a dent at the right rear very low on the quarter panel, a small dent in the left rear door and a very small dent in the left side of the hood. The car was repainted at some point and has some cracking and splitting in places. All of the bumper filler panels are brittle, cracked and broken. There are some small bubbles near the rear window and at the lower edge of the trunk lid. All glass is good and the power windows work. The bumpers are good but the rubber strip in the right front is damaged. The left tail light lens is broken but all lights front and rear are working. The interior is in good condition showing normal wear. The dash pad and dash/instrument panel are both in excellent condition. All the warning lights work and look good. The radio, blower fan and wipers all work. The driver’s seat bottom has splitting at a couple of the seams. Otherwise, the seats just show normal wear. The driver’s door panel has some cracked and distorted areas and the courtesy light is loose. The passenger front door panel has a split at the rear edge of the armrest. The carpet has normal wear but is in good condition. Tires: The tires have good tread. The rears were built the 27th week of 2011 so they look and show good but should probably be replaced due to age. The fronts were built the 29th week of 2016 so they have great tread and are only three years old. Brakes: The front and rear brake pads and rotors are in good condition. The brakes operate normally. Engine and Transmission: The car has just received a full service. Before attempting to start the engine, all the old gas was pumped out and new fuel was added. The oil and filter were changed and all fluids checked. The battery was dead from sitting so it was charged and appears to be holding a charge now. The engine is a little hard starting and runs a little rough at times but seems to get a little better the more it runs. The transmission shifts properly with no slipping noticed. The radio, wipers and blower fan work. There are three sets of keys. The owner’s manual is included and the jack and spare tire are present. Overview: This car has had only one owner. The owner is no longer able to drive so the car has been parked a little over a year. The car seems to drive nice and appears to have regular routine maintenance. And would be a nice, and interesting, daily driver or vintage collectible 80’s classic!
