This real''138'' Super Sport Chevelle Convertible was bought from a longtime friend who has been building this car for quite sometime. Unfortunately for him he could not finish it and finding himself in failing health decided to sell us his project. He had already spent thousands of dollars and hundreds of man hours on it already and everything was professionally done. It had been frame-off restored on a rotisserie with the body, frame and underside already painted ''Diamond Black' and re-assembled. It needed a lot of finishing work including top, interior, to get running & driving, stopping & steering. It has all new stainless-steel fuel tank and lines and stainless-steel brake lines AS WELL AS new tubular upper & lower control arms, QA-1 adjustable coil over shocks, 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes with 6 piston calipers and big crossed drilled and vented rotors, new quick ratio power steering as well as all new steering components too. It is powered by a G.M.P.P. 502c.i. - 502h.p. crate engine & matted to a new Tremec TKO-600 5 speed transmission and 12 bolt posi rear with 4:10 gears. It also came with everything needed to completely finish & re-assemble the car like a brand new Mercedes Benz style convertible top, a complete red bucket seat interior including console, carpet and door panels as well as every piece of brand new chrome, trim, glass & weather stripping too !!
