Vehicle Description
This 1993 Ford Mustang has the look of a sinister and professional
track car, and it doesn't take much to see that it can really back
up this feeling. It's a Fox body that's been upgraded to a fully
independent suspension, six-speed manual, and performance-built LS
motor (oh yes, this blue oval has a modern bow tie heart!) And even
with all these upgrades, it runs like a very streetable custom. So
it's time to show off to everyone.
It only takes a moment to realize you're looking at something
special. The upgraded Cobra front bumper has even more attitude
thanks to a custom riveted air dam. There are also cool details,
like the clear headlight package, hood pins, and deleted inside
lights to let more air into the motor. And of course, the big cowl
hood with heat extractor is like a dorsal fin for this street
shark. The black paint has a nice gloss in the sunshine, and up
close you will see some signs of use. So the total look will get
you respect at stoplights, but no one will ever accuse of being all
show and no go. And the fenders are flared wide so you can fit the
most amount of rubber on this 17-inch black alloys.
Open the door to a full performance setup. The six-point safety
cage, dual racing bucket seats, and G-Force five-point harnesses
let you know this has a true race-ready attitude. Power windows,
power locks, complete door panels, and the factory steering wheel
give you a hint of the original Mustang feeling, but you can also
see that all the auxiliary gauges are there to focus your attention
on driving. The center console is now even dominated by a switch
box for you to awaken this beastly custom.
The engine bay has the clean look where this could almost pass for
stock, but you already know that's not true. This custom build has
been given a wicked 6.0-liter LS heart. And it's not just that this
now is running stout Chevy power, but the fuel-injected V8 has been
enhanced and fortified. It now includes a BTR cam kit (camshaft,
valve spring, gaskets, oil pump), LS7 Lifters, steel braided lines,
AN fittings, and Hooker ceramic-coated headers. The modern motor
speaks with all the systems thanks to a Performance Systems
Integration harness and computer. You have both a Mishimoto oil
cooler and Griffin aluminum radiator to keep the fluids running
cool. The power steering is a GM unit with an expensive Borgeson
kit. This fuel-injected V8 is fully under your control with the
Tremec 6060 six-speed manual with Modern Driveline hydraulic clutch
kit and a strong BRP Muscle Rods mount. This connects to a custom
aluminum driveshaft that feeds the 3.55 rear end. But more than
just getting all that horsepower to the ground, this Mustang was
specially built for sticking to the road, too. Up front you have a
Maximum Motorsports adjustable sports suspension that's fortified
with tubular arms, a thick say bar, and frame reinforcements. Out
back is a fully independent rear suspension. Yes, you read that
right! It's the capable Cobra IRS. Finishing off this superior
handling pony car is the Wilwood four-wheel power disc brake
package.
The consignor says there is nearly $40k in this build, and there
even the receipts to prove the big investments. In fact, we just
didn't have room to mention all the features. But give us a call
today, and we'll run through all the upgrades. It shows this
Mustang is the best you could ever want and offered for far less
than you'd ever expect to pay. Call now!
