Vehicle Description
A slick presentation, serious V8 power, overdrive transmission, a
custom A/C interior, and a total quality appearance... Someone took
some serious time and money to get this 1962 Chevrolet C10 right,
and now you get to skip the hard work and get right to enjoying it
all.
This is a great place to start with a custom build. The '62 C10 has
a distinctive sheetmetal crease all the way around the hood and
cab, and this one also has terrific curves of the stepside bed. You
can tell that someone spent real time on this body by the way these
elements are so crisply presented today. Even beneath the tonneau
cover is the real wood truck bed with impressive lumber. The plum
metallic paint is a newer application. So the purple keeps a
boldness similar to red but in something deeper than the usual
cherry hues. The result is a deep gloss while also plenty of
sophistication. This deeper paint also allows to really show off
the brightwork. The mirror-like bumpers, bright grille flanked by
clear headlights, polished side steps, and upgraded 17-inch alloys
are all true standouts.
The dark plum continues inside, and now its tastefully contrasted
by a two-tone premium tan. At the center of this are an upgraded
pair of bucket seats that have a great custom look with the
two-tone intertwined on the seat inserts and piping. The bow tie
door panels, center console, and even carpeting has been done to
match. It's easy to get comfortable in the driver's seat with a
chrome steering wheel on a polished tilt column. That gives you a
clear view of the new bright Classic Instruments gauge package. And
with the cold-blowing R134a air conditioning, you know this pickup
can keep you comfortable all day long.
More careful consideration went into the engine bay. The fender
walls were painted to match the exterior. Plus, there are so many
polished and aluminum components that you might need to put on
sunglasses before looking at it all. When you look beyond the
style, there's the substance of a 350 cubic-inch V8 with all the
right upgrades. It includes a large Edelbrock four-barrel
carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, and shorty headers. And it's
supported by the right upgrades, like upgraded pulleys, steel
braided lines, and an aluminum radiator with electric fan. Because
you're going to want to show this truck off everywhere, it's good
that it was made for driving. The upgrade to a four-speed automatic
transmission means you have highway-friendly overdrive. There's
also power steering, power brakes with front discs, Toyo tires, and
the C10's sought-after trailing arm rear suspension.
This is the beautiful custom truck with everything you want. So
don't let this dream ride slip away. Call now!
