1973 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible
Car History
The Cadillac Eldorado, like the bright red one we have here at
Adventure Classics, is a luxury car manufactured and marketed by
Cadillac from 1952 to 2002 over twelve generations. The Eldorado
was always at or near the top of the Cadillac line.
In 1973, the Eldorado received a major facelift, featuring a
massive egg-crate grille, new front and rear bumpers, deck lid,
rear fenders and taill amps. Interiors featured new "soft pillow"
door panels, with larger, sturdier pull-straps.
The lengthened wheelbase of the new Eldorado offered comfortable
seating for six adults rather than just four.
Engine & Drive train
Our Caddy has the numbers matching 500 cubic inch powerhouse V8
Engine with the Quadrajet 4bbl Carb, numbers matching Turbo
Hydromatic 425 Transmission, Front Wheel Drive THM 425 Axle, Power
Front Disc Brakes, Rear Drum brakes, Power Steering, A/C, Single
Exhaust, Independent Front Suspension, 4 Link Rear Suspension, and
a Front Sway Bar.
Interior
Our 1973 Cadillac Eldorado has a white "Soft Pillow" bucket type
seats with a center console, matching rear seat and door panels,
and of course it has all the power options you would expect on a
Caddy, power windows, door locks, seats, air conditioning, brakes
steering , radio, antenna, Parade boot, power top, power trunk
release, dual remote side mirrors, tilt steering wheel, cruise
control, fender mount fiber optic lights, the factory spare & jack,
and on and on.
It also has the white convertible top, original dash and gauges,
tilt steering column, seat belts front and rear, nicely carpeted
trunk with the spare tire and jack.
Exterior
1973 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible is painted in the original
Dynasty red that is as slick as glass, with white soft top in
excellent condition. All the chrome including the chrome front
bumper is beautiful as is the original rear bumper, the chrome
grille and stainless trim are also in great shape as the body has a
very nice fit and finish.
It also has fender skirts covering the factory wheels with Caddy
hubcaps and wheels and rides on wide whitewall tires.

Classics is a luxury car that is iconic and one that you will be
proud to drive and cruise in for years to come. It has been garaged
since new and is only one of 9315 built that year. We even have the
original Owners Manual and a copy of the Warranty Card.
