Vehicle Description
Heres one that you won't see every day a 1966 Jeep CJ-5 Tuxedo Park
Mark 4 survivor. The Dauntless V6 runs strong and the 3 speed on
the floor shifts pretty smooth. Ive put in the work to make sure
everything is in working order including all lights, turn signals,
original horn and plate, vacuum windshield wipers and even the
heater. I will post as many pics as i can but please message me for
more including a driving and walk around video. Heres a list of
work I've done in the last 6 mos.: new steel gas tank, sending
unit, fuel lines and fuel filter, Brakes ( master cylinder, wheel
cylinders, shoes, 1 new drum turned 3 new s brake lines in front, 1
new brake line in rear, drum e brake adjust) all bearings repacked,
new shocks, hubs cleaned and re sealed, tune up (plugs, cap, rotor,
wires, Pertronix point delete, Pertronix Flame thrower 1.5a coil,
EGR, vacuum lines), oil change, trans and transfer case flush, new
temp sender, new choke cable, coolant flush, new main and heater
hoses, clean and re base gasket on the original carb. new exhaust,
speedo cable, gauge cluster with temp and fuel gauge (i will
include the original for milage) new brake lights and front
running/ signal lights. All brake backing plates and the valve
covers and were blasted and painted back to original, All touched
wiring was re loomed and connections i touched are now water tight.
The manual steering box has some play, the transfer case has a
small leak out of the rear seal ( i will include the new gasket), I
had a u joint clunk recently that when i re greased went away but
may need replacing in the near future. I purchased this from
someone that passed so i couldn't get paint info but if i had to
guess its a respray of the original color and has some lower
imperfections i will try to capture in the photos. I have a full
engine gasket kit, new water pump, new e brake kit that will come
with it but other then that what you see is what you get. This is a
kick to drive, it gets lots of smiles
