Vehicle Description
Rare Barn Find: 1939 Packard 6, 1700 Business Coupe. This car was
stored in a chicken barn, located near an almond orchard for many
years, and just recently has seen the light of day. It has the
original color of burgundy, the original miles are questionable,
although the speedometer reads 44,000. It has a new battery, spark
plugs and wires, new distributor cap and rebuilt carburetor. I put
new brake shoes and master cylinders all around. Original radio
works after the tubes warm up, and the static is included. All the
lights work, it has the original owners manual and Packard parts
book. The engine starts easy, and runs like a sewing machine. Tank
full of gas. It has the cutest little mouse nest in the trunk,
where the mice have worked very hard to prepare an Almond nut meal
for the entire family. The mice have borrowed some headliner
material to build their nest, so don't expect a factory look for
the headliner. It still has the original 1939 World's Fair license
plate. Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is at our
