Vehicle Description
1967 Ford F-100. This is a beautiful survivor in unrestored
original condition. If you don't like attention from people then do
not consider this truck. Every time I drive it people wave, honk,
thumbs up, or walk over to look. This truck is in very nice
original condition and is very solid. It comes with an auto
transmission and the infamous 300 C.I. straight six cylinder
engine. These engines are known to last 300k miles and this truck
ONLY has 44K. More on the engine in a moment. This is basically a
one owner truck, the guy I purchased it from bought it from the
original owner 12 years ago and had this beautiful paint job that
you see done on it and then stored it until now. The paint is
factory color and matches the firewall. He only drove it
occasionally just to keep all from going south. He said it has
never seen rain since the paint was done. The entire front end was
redone at the same time that he painted it. It drives like a dream.
Nice and tight with a smooth shifting transmission. The drivers
floor pan had a hole in it when I purchased it and the passenger
floor pan had rust but no hole. I had a friend put in heavy gauge
stainless steel and rivet it in and then painted top and bottom. I
then ordered a factory rubber flooring and recovered the floor. As
you can see, I just had the seat redone and kept the same factory
look with the stitching but I did change the color from an ugly
green to what you see now. Lights, wipers, blinkers, and even the
dome light are working. Good tires. Oil Changed 25 miles ago. This
truck is ready to drive and enjoy! It's a show truck now but a few
more DIY cosmetics and new owner will have a little sweat & pride.
This truck was purchased in Alabama and has always stayed there
until I purchased and now is in Mississippi. Alabama did not have
titles during this age. A simple Bill of Sale was and still is all
thats needed.
