Here's an old school custom, built probably in the late 60's or the 70's.
We recently got the car from the estate of a local doctor/car collector who passed away.
We don't have a lot of information as far as who built the car etc but, it is a really cool car and it is a genuine 1956 Crown Victoria to booth.
I know there's a Buick 350/350 combo under the hood, and it is surprisingly peppy.
The car has been in storage for many years so we redid the brakes, changed tires, installed a new radiator, flushed the fuel tank and cleaned the lines and also rebuilt the carburetor and the car now runs again. I would not go on a cross country trip the first thing after the long storage but take it on shorter drives to start with.
The Crown Victoria has shaved door handles with electric poppers, the rear end mounted on top of the springs, some exterior chrome removed, it has dummy spotlights, 1964 Thunderbird interior, cool old school custom knobs on the dash, very cool 1959 Cadillac tail lights sunken in to the original tail lights etc.
There's plenty to do still, I think the previous owner had started freshening the car again and not everything is finished. But the car can be driven as you see it in my pictures.
The Ford is at our restoration shop in Phoenix, Arizona.
