Vehicle Description
Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 21st year in the
classic and muscle car business. There aren't many automobiles that
engender such fond memories as the Tri-Five Chevrolets (1955-1957).
Produced in large numbers and available in multiple body styles and
trim levels, these classics have become an integral part of
American car culture. With the nearly 5 million Tri-Fives produced
having now circulated for up to 65 years (!), it seems that almost
every family has some history with these beauties. This wicked 1955
Chevrolet Bel Air (Style #1011D) 2-Door Sedan gives a tip of the
cap to 'American Graffiti', the classic film portraying the
cruising culture that was popular in the early 1960's. Lift the
hood and you'll be greeted by a nicely detailed Chevy 383 stroker
from Scoggin-Dickey Chevrolet that's pumping out a healthy 450 hp
and has been fortified with a Holley carburetor, GMPP aluminum
single plane intake manifold, GMPP aluminum heads, and Doug's long
tube fender headers feeding low-restriction side pipes. Additional
goodies include new glass, stainless steel, bumpers, grille,
emblems, steering, and many chassis components. A Hurst-shifted
Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and American Racing Torq Thrust
D wheels wrapped in new rubber put the finishing touches on the
cruiser theme. Please note the detailed chassis and nice custom
interior in the images, and you can get a small sample of the
exhilarating exhaust note from the video (WOW!). All you need now
is a '32 Ford Coupe in the next lane! Street Dreams (830-997-1950)
is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide
delivery, insurance, and financing options.
