This week Canyon State Classics is proud to bring to market one of
our favorite automobiles here at the shop. The beautiful and
powerful 1991 Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC Coupe. This was THE big boy car
to own in the 80's and 90's and 1991 was the end of an era of
overbuilt, zero compromise engineering from the Silver Star. This
Bruno Sacco designed masterpiece is considered one of the best
built, best designed S-Class models of all time. This particular
example is a lifelong California car before making its way to
Arizona several years ago. The previous owner embarked on a no
expenses spare refresh of this beautiful 30 year old machine!

Monoblock Wheels -Brand New BF Goodrich Performance Radials The
body on the car is in very good condition and was extremely well
maintained. The paint on the car is finished in its original color
of Blue Black Metallic and is in very good condition and is ALL
ORIGINAL on all sheet metal! The car has been completely inspected
underneath from front to back and is solid as a rock as any well
cared for garaged car should be. All chrome trim, glass, and rubber
seals are in great shape and original. This car shows fantastic for
its age and miles and has always been well cared for. The hard to
find Bosch European full glass headlamps really stand out and the
car is riding on high dollar original fully restored AMG multi
piece wheels sourced from Australia! Just between the wheels and
headlamps alone are over $5k in upgrade costs.
The interior is the highlight of this car and in like new condition
all around. The dash and door panels are in very nice condition
with zero cracks or damage to be noted anywhere. The mushroom
leather seats are all brand new GAHH supplied which shows the
quality of leather used in this car. All wood grain is in excellent
condition including both accordion console lids and all were sent
out for full restoration. The carpets and headliner are also brand
new high end materials. The car also still has OEM Mercedes floor
mats. All dials and controls function as they should, power windows
and antenna also are fully functional. All lights, gauges switches,
and accessories work as they should. The trunk compartment is very
clean and does have the original jack, tools, and the original
spare tire and wheel. This car is all there and in excellent shape
with all functions and accessories working as they should.
Mechanically, this SEC runs GREAT! I have owned nearly 20 80's and
90's era Mercedes vehicles, and this car is definitely in the top
tier! This car has all of its recent service as well as special
attention to problematic items like the hydraulic suspension,
steering box, valve covers, timing chain, fuel system, transmission
and complete new AC system and automatic seat belt guides! The car
has also has fresh suspension all the way around to improve
handling and give the car a more "aggressive" look. The car starts
right up and shifts smooth as silk. The V8engine is very quick and
responsive. It is reliable, easy to fix, and parts are readily
available. The 5.6L V8 has been Mercedes workhorse engine for
nearly 30 years, so you know it is just plain reliable. The
suspension is very tight and feels solid even at autobahn speeds
above 90mph, and is claimed to have a top speed of 156 MPH! The car
is tight and right as many other even lower mileage cars are, with
no leaks or current mechanical issues. The car will include 2 keys,
tools,spare tire, and owners manual.
All in all, this is beautiful SEC for the miles. It has been
professionally maintained and truly loved by its previous
owner.This Mercedes is a fantastic car for the price and includes
every option offered in this car. The car also has a clean Arizona
