Does this Nomad have the perfect color-combination or what? This Nomad has a very nice stance, has beautiful paint, an excellent running engine, smooth shifting overdrive transmission, and is comfortable as it can be. No wonder why we all love the Nomad!
This particular '57 was very nicely restored in most every aspect, sure, you could say, “needs front disc brakes”, but the brakes on this wagon perform excellently.
Take a look at the under carriage and you see that there is no rust in this Nomad as well as any rust looming under the paint.
The trim on this Nomad is excellent and the matching turquoise fin insert is a very nice, classy touch.
The 350 V8 with it's dual quad set up, starts right up, and runs smooth and quietly. Move the Doug Nash 5 speed into first gear, ease the clutch out and you're off to a “never get tired of this car” cruise.
I don't have to tell you about the number of looks and thumbs up you'll get with this Nomad, but suffice it to say, your thumb will get tired and sore retuning the wave.
The interior is clean, fresh and comfortable, and has room for the whole family to hit a vintage Burger and ice cream diner.
This Nomad steers easily with power steering, rides comfortably on the Rally's and radials.
Yes, as far as Nomads go, this '57 is very well thought out, and restored very nicely. This is one you can drive anywhere with confidence, take it to a car show, cruise-in, or, dare I say it...Cruise to the grocery store, have room for everything, and with this drive train, blast home before the Ice Cream melts!
Truly a spectacular looking, running, and driving Nomad, ready to show or go anywhere!
