Vehicle Description
Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1993 Land Rover Defender
110. Finished in Alpine White, paint quality is excellent and the
body itself is very straight (these aluminum-bodied Defenders are
notorious for being wavy, even after "restoration" - not so with
this truck). The externally-mounted steel roll cage approximates
the distinctive look of an NAS D110 but at a fraction of the cost.
A brush guard and 31x10.50 all terrains on black steel wheels are
nice finishing touches.
Interior is in good original condition with light wear but no major
defects. Flip-down side steps make entry and exit a breeze. All
gauges are working; modern AM/FM/CD stereo with USB and aux input.
You can comfortably fit nine adults in this rig (there's room for
two in the front, three across the second row, then four more in
opposing pairs on the rear jump seats).
Under the hood is the desirable 200 Tdi turbo direct injection
Diesel mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Among grey-market
Defenders, we find there to be lots of variability from truck to
truck in terms of performance and driving dynamics. This example is
unusually smooth and sprightly and it runs and drives better than
any non-NAS example we've experienced. Imported in 2018 from the
UK, this D110 has had one US owner.
