1981 marked the end of the 2nd Gen F-Body cars and this Z28 was
built to show off the performance of the day. This marked the
pinnacle of development for the 2nd Gen F-Body platform. The
handling was dialed in and the performance was still pretty good in
light of the EPA restrictions imposed on manufacturers. The
over-all car was a total joy to drive. The value for dollars spent
was very good compared to other performance cars available that
year. Many buyers recognizes this as sales were fairly strong for
the last year. This car is all original and in very good condition.
It runs and drives very well with no obvious issues.
This specific car is rust free and received one quality repaint a
few years ago. The Decals have good color and show well. The
interior is outstanding. The underside is clean and rust-free. This
is just a solid all-around car that any owner will be proud to own,
drive and show. It is clear the previous owner took very good care
of this car. The 4 Speed, AC and Fisher T-Top combination is very
hard to find. If you have been looking for one, this may be the one
you want to check out.
